Deleting your data.

Open yaniv · tap the profile tab (your initial, bottom right) · scroll all the way down · delete account. You'll see a confirmation screen explaining exactly what gets wiped, and then it's done. Immediately and permanently.

This deletes, right then:

• Your profile row in my database (name, gender, background, goals, birthdate, reminder choices)
• Your sign-in link (Apple or Google) to the account
• RevenueCat's customer record, if you ever sent a chai

Anything that only ever lived on your phone (your memorial dates, your streak history) is removed when you delete the app itself. It was never on my servers to begin with.

Lost the phone, deleted the app, can't sign in, whatever happened: email hi@hiyaniv.app with the subject line "delete my data" and tell me roughly when you signed up and which sign-in you used (Apple or Google). I'll locate the account, delete it, and confirm back to you. One person reads that inbox, and it's me. Requests are handled within 30 days, usually much faster.

Removing yaniv's access from your Google or Facebook security settings stops future sign-ins, but it does not delete the yaniv account that was created. To delete the account and its data, use the in-app flow above, or email me and I'll do it for you.

• Deletion is permanent. There is no restore, no grace period, no "undo." If you sign in again later, you start fresh.
• If you ever sent a chai, apple keeps its own record of that purchase under apple's policies, like any app store transaction. That record isn't mine and I can't erase it.
• Database backups age out on a rolling 30-day window, so a deleted row is gone from backups within 30 days too.
